If you can stand the idea of living in a sub-division, you can get a house in the 600s. |
A sub-dividsion in the exurbs, that is. |
| I grew up around there. I sincerely hope none of the snotty people who have written on this forum ever move out there and ruin the down to earth neighborhoods. |
Haha, I agree! When I moved to this area, so many people raised their eyebrows, made snobby comments, told me I would never eat good food again, etc etc. Totally ridiculous! I even had one woman drive out to my new house to buy a used Pottery Barn Kids rug from me on Craigslist. She drove out from Bethesda to pick it up and made some snobbish comment about how FAR from everything I live. I wanted to say, "look, you are the scrub who drove 35 minutes to buy a used rug that my kids puked on." |

| Why are we keeping this year-old thread alive? Let it die, people! |
Maybe it keeps going because people are interested. Just because you want it to die doesn't mean it has to. |

Does anyone know how the commute might be to College Park from Davidsonville?
|
Mappquest it. Go up 50 to 95. Maybe an hour in okay traffic. You could always park at the metro and ride that in. |
| I grew up in that area. Loved it. Parents still have their main house there. |
40-50 depending on traffic/season |
No! Take 450 and Greenbelt |
