First day of kindergarten - do you plan to walk your child to the classroom?

Thanks to this thread, I found out that our school does this too and I plan on following this.

Our school has a "cheers and tears" in the gym where the kids line up and go to their class room from there then there a coffee with the principal for the parents afterwards.
