You listen to country music when no one else is in the car. |

Love it! Amelia is one of my favorite names and the first/middle combo sounds good together. My girls are Eleanor Jane (Nora), Alexandra Mary (Lexie), & Victoria Ellen (Vicky). |
Dual income family. Mom does something interest like bio medical engineering. Dad does something boring like accounting. |
Jake always wonders why his name isn't Jacob. Your name is Tammy or Melissa. |
You don't want your daughter to have any suitors, ever, and you will never come to terms with how different the love from your DS is from the understated devotion you "sensed" from your cat. Your grown DD will disappear one day out of the clear blue sky and your DS will grow up to collect stamps. |
SAHM. Daughters go to private school and do dance and gymnastics. |
Margaret, Molly, Maura |
You also have 4 sons and fill up an entire pew at 10 AM Mass. Your mother is horrified because she raised you to be an atheist feminist. |
First born was conceived on a whim but the changes to your marriage were profound. Once you had a ball and chain, no matter how light sounding the name, you might as well go for another. Second time was the charm. Lark swoops in to pinch little Lily when no one is looking, but Lily will still blossom into a looker one day, grounding poor Lark's ego for good. Sigh. |
Lauren and Alexandra |
Clearly. Jack and Will went up the hill to fetch a pail of water. By the time they came tumbling down, society had changed for the better and no one even noticed them. |
They are already the Queen Bs of the preschool set. Lauren has particularly discriminating tastes and can spot which of her classmates are wearing clothes from Target. She isn't quite sure why this is objectionable but makes sure they know that it just won't do. Alexandra will become sporty as a way to distinguish herself from her older sister and develop a hidden crush on a teammate. |
Your long-submerged Viking genes still peek out here and there where least expected -- in pale faces and larger than life ears, hands made for swinging an ax (on a girl) and an uncanny ability to navigate by the stars, an odd trait you share with all of your cousins and your children. Who needs smores when you can hear distant shores calling you just by looking at the night sky? |
