Am naturally frugal but manage to rationalize spending money on:

yoga studio pass

Daycare. Housecleaner. Decent wine.

when I had the money for a material splurge, it was on jewelry.

Unfortunately I haven't had the money for that kind of splurge in quite a while.

I'm impressed you could even spend $1,000 on patio furniture at ikea. I bought an entire set and umbrella for something like $200.

$200 face creams, LifeCell and Amore Pacific etc.

Derma wand, Nuface and LightStim devices.

Many vitamins, minerals and supplements for the skin.

I am always buying some new cream , supplement and or facial product.i spend thousands each year. I do get a lot of compliments on my skin though.

Spinning classes at Zengo Cycle in Bethesda. Good food - we usually shop at Shoppers Food Warehouse but every now and then I like to step it up and shop at Whole Foods and Balducci's. Going out to eat. Nice clothes.

I guess travel is my splurge. And I eat out for lunch most days at work.

We have gone to the Caribbean the past two winters and that was not cheap. Will probably not do that for a few years.
