What different approach do out of state clinics take?

The big difference is the lab. I highly recommend Dr. Hesla at ORM. He was the former co-director of CCRM but then opened a clinic in Portland, OR. ORM is much cheaper than CCRM and has excellent success rates.

Before you run and start the whole immune testing thing OP - find an obgyn who will do an endometrial biopsy/scratching for you! And then try for three- four months after getting that done. Sometimes that is all it takes to restart things down there. I was an sgfc patient with an unexplained infertility diagnosis. Everything always checked our beautifully including our first IVF but never a bfp did we see. We had beautiful monitored non-medicated cycles; beautiful medicated cycles; beautiful first IVF and nada! Then for IVF number two we did an Endo scratch as part of a study sgfc was doing and got our first bfp ever! We're 37 weeks tomorrow.

I was about to head down the road of immune testing but Abassiwho I went to for a second opinion said it was too early. She did run a whole bunch of clotting and thrombophilia testing and everything checked out beautifully again.
