I'm sorry for her family and especially for her children. Horrible for them to grow up motherless. Even an unstable mother is better than none. Peaches grew up without a mom, and she clearly did not have a good role model.
She may have died of something entirely unpredictable, like an aneurysm, but given her past history and her obsessive posting pix of herself/children in PUBLIC, I think it's likely that mental illness/drugs/alcohol played a big role in her death. She's a victim of some seriously terrible parenting! Any parent who parades their children in public as the Geldofs did is asking for trouble. In the weeks and months just prior to her demise, she lost an extreme amount of weight, supposedly from a “diet.” That was no “diet.” That was a “purification” ritual prescribed by the organization. She was told by their leaders that it would cleanse her of the toxins that had built up in her body after years of substance abuse. The purification consisted of excessive exercise (several hours each day), very restricted food intake, vitamins, and long sauna sessions (sweating out the toxins for four or five hours a day). Does that sound healthy to you? |

I never saw it as the father parading his children. He's a big celebrity in England and the press followed them around. The second the kids were old enough, the press followed them without the father present -- in and out of clubs, restaurants, etc. Peaches used that exposure and celebrity to her advantage in terms of job opportunities. She showed up on red carpets on her own too. She had a huge reputation as a wild child starting in her teen years. I'm not trying to defend her father (I really don't know that he needs defending). Just another point of view. Anyway, I'm sorry she died so young. Must be hard for the entire family. |

Peaches had lost a lot of weight in the past few years and it seemed was doing juice fasts for months on end. This could have caused a heart problem.
She was off hard drugs, but who knows? Maybe she went back for one last time and that, combined with the weight loss, was fatal. |

Toxicology report says heroine overdose. Her youngest son was apparently with her when it happened. And he was alone in the house with his deceased mother for an estimated 17 hours. How awful.
