Can folks recommend reputable online schools (that won't reference "online" on the degree)?

I believe if you go to the "University of Maryland University College," that basically means you went to an online school. There may be some in-person classes but most UMUC classes are online these days. It is NOT the same as "University of Maryland, College Park" which is the flagship UMD institution. If someone put on their resume that they went to University of Maryland, College Park when they really went to University of Maryland University College, that would be misleading and untruthful. Overall I think University of Maryland University College is a fairly respectable institution. Going there is certainly better than not having a degree at all! I don't think it matters that much where you get your degree once you have seniority and experience. |
