5 men (had long-term relationships with 3 of them), 2 women (had a long-term relationship with 1 of them). I'm kind of a deep serial monogamist.

I actually ended up (very happily) married to the dude I lost my virginity to as a teenager.

I'm 38.

They're lovely ladies. One of them is now my best friend (and yes, our respective husbands, including the one I'm not married to anymore, know we were lovers when we were 20). I really just don't like sleeping with women, though. They were all really special ladies that I had actual relationships with. I just don't really like sex with women as much as sex with men.

I never counted. Probably 30 or more, almost all in college. Plus a couple of women. No regrets (I did wake up feeling like s*** a couple of times, but that was mostly from the hangover!). I got married in my mid 20's, now have 2 kids.

Three; married to #3 for several years. Age 31 now, one child.

The only one I guess I kind of regret was #1-- it was a boyfriend during college who didnz't treat me well. I just lost my virginity because all my friends had and I was starting to feel like a loser, or it would be weird to remain a virgin.

#2 was a great guy and wonderful boyfriend, wide receiver on the football team and very attractive. Treated me wonderfully and it was a great experience.

#3 is now my DH. We just clicked and had sex early in the relatiomship. It was after a long dry spell for me, too much stidying during law school and dating a guy who later came out as gay.

All in all it was perfect! I'm just relieved I didn't get herpes as all three of these guys had extensive sexual histories.
