I quit cold turkey about a month ago at maybe 325. I uninstalled it from ipad and iphone. It was becoming a problem - staying up late playing, etc.
Now I play solitaire blitz but that isn't nearly as addicting. I have a friend on facebook that recently "beat" candy crush. |
I think that humans are hard-wired to look for patterns. Candy Crush, like Tetris before it, taps into that deep human tendency. |

| I'm stuck at level 79. I don't link it to Facebook or buy anything, so I just have to keep trying until I beat it. |
Brutal! |
| 377 and climbing! |
but once you pass it, the the next 10-15 are one and done. |
|
153 and it's kicking my ass...
Love it but hate it. |
No. I guess I'm the dumb one. Lol. I didn't realize you had to do that. I will try now. Thank you!

| 461... Almost done. Hiding in shame. |

Just so we don't feel bad about playing Candy Crush - I stumbled across this work that the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation is undertaking - finding that video games help aging brains:

| I've never played. |

I just got to level 97. What the hell is this kind of crazy time bomb craziness?!
Constant time limits, AND a minimum score?! |
Just wait till you get to the chocolate squares that keep coming back even after you get rid of the last one. |
| Played it until the end. I think that is level 410 |
