This house in Edgemoor?

I am a DC poster using California as an example (after all aren't they the poster-child for outrageous home prices). Perhaps some other time I will compare DC to New York's suburbs.

And what are you, a DC realtor who does not want your client looking at more charismatic comps? Go ahead and make fun of my crusade, because your lemming mentality will only lead you to overpay for a Bethesda house.

California poster, you either have too much time on your hands or you have some pro-Pasadena agenda. Either way, I second what 2146 said.

Why don't you put down your Chardonney and go to bed.

I am totally baffled by the Pasadena-obsessed poster. Who cares about what's happening in California when we're talking about Bethesda?? Start a new thread if you want to wax on and post endless links to listings across the country!

+1,000. This CA poster is bat-shit crazy!

Let they who live in teardowns not cast the first stone.

Not OP here, but I do find it appropriate that we have $1.5 M teardowns in a region where we just love to tear one another down. Welcome to DCUM, OP!

PP, who thought that DC and CA had reached parity . . . I don't think so. At least we can still afford Edgemoor, unlike those uber-expensive places out there.

Even though you can rent it out for $4000-$5000 per month?

California is not the "poster child for outrageous home prices." That would be NYC.

I thought Edgemoor was a cancer cluster. Have heard this referred to many times in the last few years. Any truth to this?

Apples to oranges this gorgeous home to the Edgemoor listings.. The question is would it be listed for more, less, or the same in Edgemoor?
