Visited Beauvoir - was completely underwhelmed

Just completed parent visit at B. Loved it! But I get the point about the art. You feel like you're walking into a museum once you enter the school. I also noticed that some of the signed pieces had some rather famous (at least for DC) names attached. Along with the graduating class pictures, with the names of each graduate meticulously spelled out (and a slew of famous, for DC and otherwise names), it's hard not to walk away thinking B is trying to make a not so subtle point about where they rank in the universe and who they want to walk those warm, inviting hallways.

DS attends Beauvoir and we are always trying to determine who the famous DC families are that attend the school. Your comments seem a bit odd. If you know the famous families that attend Beauvoir please share : )

The pictures of each graduating class referred to in PP lists the graduates. So many of those families have since moved on. But if you look closely enough at those, you will recognize some very "famous" names from DC and elsewhere.

Okay, then, you're the weird one for staring so closely at the picture to find the famous names.

It's a top elementary school in Washington DC, seat of our nation's government. What do you expect?
