My beta didn't double. Is there hope?

I had my first beta 16dpo (so 11dp5dt) and after two chemical pregnancies (with very low first betas) was very happy with the 1466.

But two days later my beta was only 2431 (so doubling just shy of every 66 hours).

This was last Thursday and I'm now waiting for an ultrasound tomorrow. They didn't have me come in over the weekend for a repeat test.

I know doubling times slow as betas rise but I thought this was after 6 weeks and might not be the case if the high value is in the early stages. So, I'm nervous.

Anyway, would love to hear how you're doing.

Hi PP,

After beta 3 we had an u/s and found out that I'm pregnant with twins. I'm 15 weeks now and so far things are looking good. The babies are growing on pace and I'm feeling really good. I wish you the absolute best, PP. I know that this period is so tough but stay positive. They probably aren't having you do the 3rd beta because they feel confident about your numbers. I will be thinking of you. I am proof that the not doubling thing is not a big deal when your numbers start high.

Thanks so much 21:16. Had a scan today and so far things look fine (also saw 2 sacs but too early to feel confident with the word twins

My RE basically said meaning making and betas is chasing a dream.

Continued good luck to you as well and thanks so much for responding.
