Believed in god until I was put into a religious school and found out more about god. Vocal atheist at a Lutheran hs.
DH believed in got thru college. Sang in choir, etc.
Everyone at work knows we are atheists. DH keeps his beliefs from his family since they are bible thumping Baptists.
Most of my family are atheists so nothing to hide there.

I share my atheism on an as-needed basis. My aunts didn't know until I informed them when asked me to read from the Bible and lead a prayer at a funeral.

My parents and all of my close friends know. Some of them are theists, some are not.

It's a frequent topic of argument between my mother and I.
