Yep, just fired off a letter to Cheh.

It is time to make the event unfriendly for the runners. Show up and boo and heckle the runners.

What's the event coming up this weekend?

After the split from the half we were running warehouse areas and doing loops on Anacostia waterfront and finally ending up on the hilly and deserted Minnesota Ave. by the time I got to the finish area the place was destroyed and they were out of a bunch othings, including chocolate milk. Luckily everyone was gone by then so bag check was a breeze.

I did it this year and thought the course was much better than in the past when it was the National Marathon. Just curious, was this your first time running the race?

Different poster. I ran the National its last year and I thought this past race was way, way worse.

She's a runner. Good luck with that.

And, please, they don't stop traffic for these every weekend. Most of the shorter races in this area are around Haine's Point or maybe down Pennsylvania Avenue. The longer ones tend to go on the GW Parkway. As far as I know this is the only one that goes up into so many neighborhoods.
