If a Dad has primary custody then odds are, Mom's pretty loony. |
| In my situation, the judge appointed a guardian ad litem for our child, then the guardian to referred us to a good coparenting counselor. Then the disputes can be brought to the coparenting sessions rather than court. We split the fees for the guardian & the counselor. It does not stop ExH's constant dispute raising but does provide me/us with professional help in dealing with all the issues. Cheaper than attorney fees, but not free. Hope this helps, it is very stressful to deal with someone who can't seem to end the conflict. |
Wow, how untrue. Growing up my Dad had primary custody and its not that my mom was loony. Times have changed folks- Dads can be primary caregivers without the Mom having to be a nutjob. |
Yeah, right! In theory yes, but not in reality - unless very rare cases where mom has a conflict due to work schedule, etc. But your regular, everyday case? Only if mom is a loon. |
| what kind of drugs? are u saying marijuana (small type) or like cocanine (big kind). he's the father let him see his child. stop being a pricky mother. do u know that statistic shows that 85% of children that are not raised with a father mod tot their lives become delinquent, drug addict, and incarcerated. so when 20 yrs down the line u see your child like that u have only u to blame. |

Are you listening to yourselves ?
The man has a right to visit his kids ! He has a right to be treated fairly in Court You have an obligation to be a responsible Parent and raise healthy kids - meaning - Kids require BOTH parents - stop stop stop Suggesting YOU are the only one worthy of Being a Parent .. |
Why would you dredge up a thread that is almost 2 years old to add this? In this case, the case in question has probably long since been settled (like well over a year ago). If you wanted to make an argument for two participatory parents, you could have created a new thread for this rather than dredging up a very old one. If you find a thread via Google, just stop and look at the OP (first) posting date before you reply. |
| Get in your car and run the fucker over. Not with your child in the car though! |
Except the courts have decided over and over that the father doesn't deserve visitation, for whatever reason |
