I keep re-reading it because everyone was talking about getting the emergency fund established and no one was saying "Start investing in the 401(k), at least enough for the match! You're leaving money on the table!"

OP,

Save your money for a downpayment for a house. Once yo uhave a house, save so that when you need to buy a car, you can always buy in cash, or close to it.
