I'm in this thread twice and I weigh 90 lbs. Dream on. |
And I'm 115 lbs. and I haven't posted yet only because I couldn't decide which gross thing that I ate I should post about.
I have zero guilt when I do that. I eat good, whole food most of the week, and am very happy to eat a whole bag of gummy worms/chips/etc. at 2 am when I'm finishing a project sometimes. |
| Late last year a good friend in Paris mailed me a pack of Marron Glace (google it). It was a "family gift" and there were 11 in the pack. I decided to taste one while I sat in the car at the post office parking lot. By the time I got home they were all gone - its about a 10 minute drive. |

There are three reasons I eat like that:
1. In front of the TV 2. In front of the computer 3. I want something else I can't have, so there's food (that can be sleep - pp is not the only late night working snacker - fluids, or less stress). Yet somehow knowing this and not eating it can be hard if the temptation is right. I'd sell my firstborn for a pint of B&J's chocolate mood therapy, especially if I could have one of those gigantic Costco containers of perfectly ripe blackberries to go with it. RIght now. In. A. Heartbeat. |
| I give myself one splurge day a week. No guilt at all. |
| It's because behind the junk food sits teams of food scientists whose sole job is to find ways to make the food addictive. It's an unfair fight that will never be won. When you combine the stress, lack of sleep, and pace of our current lives with the abundance of this food everywhere, it's just tough. |

Whole Foods sea salt encrusted dark chocolate coated toffee. Ahhhhh, love it so. Also they have a new chocolate flax mini muffin I bought for my kids. Not too sweet, delicious, chocolatey. I ate them all.
I'm not overweight either. But I look and feel a lot better when I get a grip on this behavior. |
| I'm a year+ into vegan eating and I weigh the most I have ever in my life. Evey dessert or snack I find that is vegan, I say, " I can eat that??!" And proceed to eat mountains of it. I need help. Oreos prime example. |
| Eat some meat. |
