What in Sam's hill are you talking about? |

I have a Michael. He has another Michael in his class (The are Michael T and Michael S). It doesn't bother them and it doesn't bother me.
My oldest son has an unusal name and he ended up on of the three with his name in his preschool class. It was kind of bonding for them. |
I'm a Sophie born in 1974 - back then I was mocked because only Grannies and dogs shared my name. Now I am mocked because the entire 2nd grade shares it. I can't win! |
My 1st grader wishes he was named Jack like so many of his friends.
|
| I just posted this on the other name thread - Maya and Mia are the two most common girls names among friends and co-workers. Enough already!! |
Love this post, PP! |
LOL. You just know some pregnant hipster is adding 'Hortense' to her list of baby names right now. |
You are such jerk! Now I am going to have to tell my DD Gertrilda that her name is ugly. I combined two classics to be unique! Grr. |
A lot of this depends on where you live. I bet there are a LOT more Nevaehs in Kentucky or Nebraska, for instance, than there are in DC. |
All of the only Neveah's I know are in California. |
really? I'm Jewish and even I understand. It's hilarious. |
OP, if you honestly can't see how the wording in your post would be taken as argumentative/insulting rather than an innocent "poll," you need some serious training in written communication. |
My poor grandmother was Gertrude Matilda. She HATED her name---went by Dolly instead. |
