I was married by a rabbi my MIL's choice that I couldn't pick out of a line up, my kid's were baptized by a bishop who has since retired and is irrelevant to my life and you have no way of knowing who Obama has had into his home. Your conclusions about Obama based on these things is absurd.

I'm sure some people didn't vote for Romney because he was Mormon. I think it's more likely that people didn't vote for Obama because he is black so I think the Mormon thing was more than washed out but racism affecting votes on the other side (maybe some racists who are afraid of mormons didn't vote at all!)

Women didn't vote for Romney. Latinos didn't vote for Romney. People with hearts didn't vote for Romney and People who read the newspaper didn't vote for Romney.

Why is this a surprise that he lost? Nate Silver predicted Obama's win and knew exactly how each state would play out. We knew all along that Obama would win (but worked tirelessly on his campaign anyway).

I know several republicans that wouldn't vote for Obama, but would never vote fo a Mormon. This is the main reason he lost the republican vote. Lets face it. Mormons didn't recognize blacks until the late 70s. Romney was preaching at that time. You don't think he's prejudice?

Well it seems that many of the Mormons didn't want Romney either. George W Bush received more votes from Mormons than Romney.

Romney lost because the other guy was better. Obama appealed to more voters and had a better ground game. He increased voter turnout for young voters and African-Americans and Latinos from 2008. He lost because the country is Center Left, due to social issues (gender and marriage equality, for example) but Fox News isn't ready to hear that.

Conservatives lived in a bubble that led them to believe that Obama's base fell out of love with him. That never happened! They thought this was their election for the taking and that everyone blamed Obama for high unemployment, as if we all were oblivious to the Republican-led fiscal plunge that he inherited upon taking office. Conservatives thought talks of self-deportation would be forgotten by Latinos in the general election. They were wrong. They thought threats of overturning Roe v Wade could be erased and women wouldnt care. They were wrong. They thought shouting "You lie!" at the First Black President during his first SOTU address wouldnt offend African-Americans, and calling him the food stamp president would draw enough White voters. They were wrong.

Being a Mormon may have cost him a few votes the same way being Black surely lost a few Reagan Democrats for Obama. It's not the reason he lost.

I think plenty of Asians voted for Romney, they hate government. A lot of Asian communities have their own groups for helping each other by homes. Community business loans of such. I don't know the details but this is what an Asian friend told me a while back.
