I would have said that too, but then I saw footage of Kent island and began panicking about my parents.

I'm now drinking lukewarm chardonnay.

DH fixed a vodka tonic about 15 mins avo.. Im just waiting for the wine to chill to kick off my hurricane party. So much TV today to include
3 episodes of homeland
2 gossip girl episodes ( i have a teen DD)
2 episodes of ben and kate
1 episode of american horror story asylum edition
Lots of storm coverage
Oh and i havent stopped eating all day

Yeah, as much as I am getting thirsty for it, I don't want to crash early when the brunt of the storm comes. Definitely no wine, but I'll have a beer or two.

I walked to the drug store late this morning when I realized that in all the "prep shopping" I had done on Saturday, I neglected to buy booze! I decided to go with red wine. Figured a good choice to pick something that doesn't require refrigeration.
It's close enough to 5, so now I will go open it up!
