got a full in store credit refund for my 2007 leather Kramfors from IKEA today PSA

I always keep receipts for large items I buy that have long warranties on them. That's what you are supposed to do...just have one folder for this case and put everything in there right after purchase and you're done. If you ever need a receipt you'll know where it is. No hassle. Things like mattresses, beds, sofas, chairs - anything that gets lots of traffic and was expensive and has a long warranty.

I went to Ikea in Portland, Oregon to see about the warranty on my Kramfors, and they said that there is no warranty for the leather sofa. WTF?? You shop at Ikea and all the sales associates talk about their 10 year warranty. "Don't worry, our sofas are so great that we back them with a 10 year warranty." Lies! I even had the receipt to show proof of purchase.

It seems like the sales staff tell you one thing in order to get you to buy their product and the customer support personnel tell you another. Never buying a sofa from Ikea again. I'll take my business elsewhere and you all should too!
