I think women especially ought to be ashamed to be buying into this fat criticism. How long have we demanded that we be listened to and respected on the basis of what's in our heads, not what we look like or how fat or thin we are? There's so much to object to about this guy that his physical repulsiveness is not an issue. Just as Sarah Palin or Michelle Bachmann or Ann Coulter being (IMHO) anywhere from pretty to very hot. Not relevant. AT ALL.

Agreed. You don't even need fat as a reason not to like Christie. There's the fact that he's a nasty bully who claims to be a "truth-teller" when he is anything but.

Are you talking about his criticism of the stimuls package, but as governor he has provided a bail out to a casino that is now in bankruptcy. I guess his state stimulus is a bust that he chooses not to discuss.

Please. Unless he has a medical condition, a fat man has no excuse for being fat. It's not like he can have a baby and gain baby weight. Or the weight is due to hormones.
