Taylor Swift and Conor Kennedy

I think she is cute and talented.

But why is no one mentioning that she dated Conor's cousin, Schwartrzenager's kid , just a few months before. Awkward! And weird.

She REALLY wants to be part of the Kennedy family.

Her song writing is what she is honored for in the business, not her singing. She is a brilliant songwriter (whether you like the songs or not) for someone her age.

That said, it's a big experience difference. If he was 24 to her 29, it wouldn't seem so funky.

She seems happy. I wish them both well!

Then that makes things even weirder, IMHO! What 23-yo wants to hangout with high school kids??? I would question the decision-making of any 23yo who wanted to hang out with my h.s.-aged child. Soo strange.

Compared to who? Alanis Morisette, Lauryn Hill and Adele were brilliant young songwriters. Taylor Swift's songs are cute, but she's nowhere near the same league as those women when they were her age.

I say great for them if they are just enjoying young love and don't plan to have a future together. If she wants to marry this dude I think it's a bad idea. He needs time to grow up and date around and have other relationships.

Strange she bought that expensive a house near him. I could understand a vacation condo since she's loaded, but a huge house? He's just a baby. Don't make him grow up to fast.

This is what gross old men do. Marry young girls who could be their granddaughters. Then dump them when they grow up. But at least she's not that old. Is everyone giving her a hard time because the roles aren't switched--she's the older one? Guys date younger all.the.time.

I find it way too much that she's gone and bought a house across the street! Where are her family/friends? Someone should have told her NOT to do that. Looks a bit stalkerish.

Wait, I don't think that's fact. I read that many tabloids reported her to be dating Schwartenager kid because she was always around that group -but later came to light that it was in fact the Kennedy boy all along.

Different poster here. I disagree. The kid can write lyrics. May not be a genre that interests you but she is very good at what she does. Not sure I would call any of these four women brilliant though. Very good maybe but none of them are brilliant.

I agree. I also happen to like her songs, but her lyrics are very insightful for her age. Not many teenagers have her perspective. But the haters will always hate...
