Chesterbrook

Assume this responds to first question. None of Chesterbrook feeds into Langley.

Yes. The students that go to Longfellow and then to Langley are AAP students zoned for Cooper. There are some students zoned for Longfellow and Marshall, but I know of none that are zoned for Longfellow and Langley.

There are kids that go to Longfellow and then Marshall????? Where do they live? I thought if you were going to Marshall you came from Kilmer (with a few from Thoreau).

The ones I know, live south of Rte 7, just beyond Wolftrap. However, any Mclean zoned student can go to Marshall as is it the IB option HS for the McLean pyrimid. There are small idiosycrasies in the dividing lines between Longfellow/ Kilmer and McLean/Marshall.

I meant to add. Marshall students can also attend McLean, as it is their AP school.

Is it the AP school for all of the Marshall students? I had a friend whose DC was talking about pupil placing at Madison for AP.

I believe it's whichever is closer to the student's residence.

Yep. A lot of Marshall students in Vienna actually live closer to Madison than to Marshall. McLean is the nearest AP school for some Marshall students who live in Falls Church. Falls Church might be the closest for others.
