I'm surprised to see this thread revived. OP here. I appreciate all the suggestions, but I (and I take total blame) did not word my original post well. I was looking more for thoughts on our chosen names with our last name (or as best an approximation as I could give and remain anonymous) and maybe a couple additional suggestions that fit along with them (e.g., not too trendy, not too unusual, somewhat classic). We have a baby name book and have been using a website that helps select similar names not ending in vowels and, in particular, A. Again, thanks for all the suggestions, but I think we're likely going to choose from our original list.
Special props to the PP who suggested Anita Lasagna, which made me laugh. I do need a lasagna!
