Who did you ask to raise your kids if you die?

BIL and SIL with friend to take care of financial issues.

I am struggling with this too. We need a will and keep procrastinating. At least we each have life insurance.

DH's close friends are very well off, great with the kids, and chose not to have kids of their own. But the guy would make an unbelievable dad and his wife would be a fantastic mom. I'm just not sure if they would be ok with it because they didn't want kids of their own. They also live near my in-laws.

DH and I each have one sibling but it would be tough for them to take in the kids, financially and situationally, but I kind of think my brother expects it. Not that he every visits or anything...it's just that he's married and has a decent sized house. SIL would have to move, probably change jobs, etc. - it would be much harder on her, esp. since she's single.
