Mostly jewelry. Antique pearls and a gold ring I received for my bat mitzvah. Two antique "right hand rings" I saved up for and bought for myself. One of them is a signet ring that had my initial on it from the last owner (I thought that was cool). My grandmother's jewelry. And I've kept my favorite stuffed animal from childhood, which I would be very sad to lose.

This is an interesting question. I have a lot of stuff but I wouldn't consider those prized possessions and I am not that attached to stuff. I guess it would probably be my beach house, because I just really like being there and would be really sorry if we had to sell it for some reason. I'd probably downsize here first.

I have a temple rubbing, from a famous temple in southeast Asia, that my dad brought back to the states in the 60's. Because it reminds me of him (he's dead) and certain aspects of my childhood and it is beautiful and unique (well, here anyway, and to me) that might be my most prized possession. But also the ultrasound pics of my kids and just pictures in general, especially of my parents (my kid's pics are all digital).

Photo albums and videos of my kids. Wedding album, but that could be replaced I guess, just a pain.

A man with such screwed up priorities doesn't deserve such a fine automobile.

My wedding/engagement ring was my great grandmother's ring, and means the world to me. I also have a ruby colored cup that belonged to my great grandmother that I cherish.

??? How do you know his priorities are screwed up? Or that "he" is a he? Just because that's his/her most prized posession? Some of you are such pollyanna's on here. We excluded people from this! I love the irony of all you Bethesda/NW DC dwelling, private school admission hand wringing, lululemon wearing peeps here can be so sanctimonious when it comes to something like this. Yet none of you seem to be relinquishing your worldly belongings to charity. Or even deigning to live in a "bad" area like Silver Spring, lol. Fucking hypocrites.

I'm a female person, btw.

I do not get your post at all? How can you tell what his priorities are? This is a thread about your MOST PRIZED POSSESSION! You sound like you are a scorned man-hater in general.

My engagement ring. It has been in my DH's family since the mid 1800s. Four of his grandmother's wore it.
