9 week old won't sit still

Anonymous
My DS was like that and still is (though he is a toddler now so they are all pretty active). How far can a 9 week old baby get though? Why don't you bring a blanket and some toys and let him play? We did a mom group starting around that time and I always let my son move around. We all sat on the floor. I would never have gone to something where we were seated at a table bc especially once they really start moving that isn't going to be fun for anyone. Your baby sounds fun! Don't listen to any negative posts.

I think there's something wrong with you.

I think there is something wrong with moms who sit around feeling superior and assuming all kids unlike their own have special needs, such as a massive superiority complex or intense insecurity. Moms who feel the need to instill fear in other moms that there is something wrong with their children are even worse - just obviously nasty, repugnant human beings.

Maybe those of us on a lower plane of existence can hope to be like you one day. I bet you don't have a TV, either, and let those around you know it daily.

9 weeks is still a newborn, right? My kids were still adjusting to life outside the womb where they got constant movement.
