To the poster mentioning the 82nd, that my Airborne Division...I've been through two tours in Iraq & the surge has had some success, but it's only a band-aid reacion. The solution is to increase our force level 3X times to what it currently is & deal with the fact that we will be there for 15 to 25 years minimum or we could cut ties (as Reagan did when the Marine barracks was bombed) and reposition & focus on our needs in Afghan. Yeah, McCain is a former POW but that was 40 years ago, get real and deal with reality....I have a family of 4 and if I go on another tour I don't know if I'm coming back...I will never forgive McCain for opposing Webb's veterans bill...Go Obama Go

Please don't blame the liberals & cast them as ignorant to the needs of the military. If this admin had listened to the military leaders BEFORE we went in to Iraq we would have been prepared for dealing with the quagmire we're in now....plus we'd have had the armaments we needed...I'll take you Walter Reed so you can see the results that this lack of leadership and planning has produced...and for what, I have friends patrolling the green zone that still look over there shoulders after how many $ spent, time and lives lost!!!
