As a (possibly facetious) answer to my own question, is it relevant that "Thank you" means the same thing as "I would like to thank you"? |
I'm guessing that it originally meant something like "I will fuck you b/c you're my bitch" or "You will be fucked by some undefined person b/c you're the world's bitch." The premise would be that it's humiliating to be fucked. (Now that I think about it, that would make it very similar to Christie's statement here.) Given that premise, I would guess that it was originally used by men to men, so it would communicate the dom/sub idea. Now that I've guessed, let's see if we can find it: Had a hard time finding something. I did learn that there are some people very angry at a company called "Origin." (No offensive companies named "Etymology," apparently.) |
