It's been referenced and documented in many places. Here are some of them:
http://www.otbrit.com/circumcision/the-mohel/ http://jewishmedicalassociationuk.org/ethics/circumcision http://www.tiuny.org/mohel.shtml http://atlantajewishtimes.com/blog/2011/09/13/the-threat-to-circumcision-2/ http://www.revilo-oliver.com/rpo/Kosher_Kings.html http://sites.google.com/site/completebaby/repression |
| All those sites are doing is repeating the same ” internet facts” which may or not be based on actual truth. That's why I'm looking for a legitimate news source. The closest you have there is the UK Jewish medical association, or the Chicago Times but NEITHER of them confirm that Queen Elizabeth did anything, they merely talk about the royal family historically. |
| The above news items contain plenty of information. How many more links do you need? They even contain the article that says Prince Charles was circumcised by Jacob Snowman. It's a contemporaneous newspaper account. You can't get more specific than that. |

For some reason it bothers people to hear that the British Royal Family used to have its boys circumcised by a mohel.
Not sure why it should matter. |

Dr. Louis Marmon (Rockville) did our son's circumcision - he did a beautiful job. He came recommended by our pediatrician.
Dr. Marmon is a pediatric surgeon and ALSO a mohel. We brought our son to a surgery center in MD, and it was completed very quickly. It cost $400 bucks total, and insurance covered most of it. He saw us for a follow up appointment, too, to check on the healing. If our next child is a son, we will have Dr. Marmon circumcise him.
Good luck! |
| Was this a non-religious/non-Jewish circumcision with Dr. Marmon? |
