If you really want music for your early ES kid, apply to E.W. Stokes PCS. Music or Art class everyday for all kids, even 3 year olds.

Violin lessons starting at K or 1st. Guitar lessons starting at 3rd or 4th. A steel drum band that is excellent.

DC Youth Orchestra is a terrific program.

Also, Capitol Hill Arts Workshop (CHAW) has many rewarding offerings in choral, musical theater and dance.

Lots of opportunities for a Brent parent right in the neighborhood.
