More and more kids at Starbucks?

I've never gotten stares at walking in to a Starbucks with my children. I have gotten a few stares when they walk out with a coffee cup - but as the mom of kids with milk allergies, Starbucks is one of the few places where I can get them soy milk (which they put in a coffee cup with a lid.)

Starbucks is and was one of our favorite places to stop. They have kids milk and nice bathrooms. In fact if DH ever takes DD out alone he always stays near a Starbucks so he he does has to fret the whole mens room or women's room thing. It never occurred me that some people may not approve but we don't really care what crazy, judgemental people think anyway.

Starbucks, McD's, any of this junk is called "Rarely" foods in our house. We have Always, Sometimes, and Rarely. But we do not sweat it, we just go there rarely, maybe three times a year. I started brewing my own coffee at home during second preg b/c I wanted to control caffeine, and it has stuck. But there is no evil in a frap. It just has to be a rarely food!! But enjoy it when you get it!!!

We Always get coffee there. And milk. And Sometimes a hot cocoa. Starbucks is hardly MdD's.

I would definitely not put starbucks on the same level as McDonalds! Starbucks is our weekly treat after soccer on Saturday. We all get drinks with skim milk- definitely not in the unhealthy camp. There are so many kids at the one we go to on a Saturday and I never look for or notice any glares.
