I like a lot of Jo Malone's current line, especially layered with a body cream. |

All you Jo Malone fans - do you really like the scents? I got a sampler box and really am not wowed. I like the Orange Blossom but always think people will think I had just peeled an orange. Some of them have almost a bitter/tinny smell (basil, pomegranate). Am I missing somethig or doing something wrong?
I like Opium for evening. For years, starting in college, I wore Polo Ralph Lauren - can't believe others didn't as well. |

I like fresh and clean and/or citrusy smells the best.
Falling in Love - Philosophy Amazing Grace - Philosophy White Linen - Estee Lauder Sugar Lemon - Fresh Hesperides - Fresh Sur de Nil - Hermes (my young daughter just loves when I wear this) |
I have to agree. The Jo Malone scents are pretty ordinary for the most part. Overpriced, not much staying power, but beautiful packaging. Also have to agree the Jennifer Aniston scent is surprisingly nice. |
Ditto the Jo Malone Nectarine Blossom and Honey. I wear this just about every day. But, I also love: 1. Hermes Un Jardin Sur Le Nil 2. Origins Spring Fever 3. Marc Jacobs Daisy |

Jo Malone Nectarine Blossom & Honey
Lola by Marc Jacobs Twirl by Kate Spade Narsico Rodriguez for her Flora by Gucci Gucci by Gucci LOVE perfume. I am sure my husband wishes I would stop buying it! |
| I don't normally wear any fragrances but recently read a study that wearing a scent with grapefruit makes you appear 5-10 years younger. I really wouldn't mind people thinking I'm 5 + years younger so does anyone have any suggestions for fragrances? Thanks! |
I wonder why? |
Hmm, I love Un Jardin Sur le Nil. I'm going to have to try Nectarine Blossom & Honey, although I haven't been crazy about most of the Jo Malone fragrances I've tried recently. I liked some of the older ones like Lime Blossom and Red Roses, and every summer I get a brief yearning for Lime Basil Mandarin, but I found English Pear & Freesia and some of the other recent releases unwearable. |
PP, I'm with you on Jo Malone. I tried Grapefruit, Orange Blossom and Nectarine Blossom and found them to be too simple and right-in-your-face. I like my perfume a bit more sophisticated. For evening I like Bandit by Robet Piguet (but you need to be very careful not to overdo it), and Agent Provocateur. And I don't have a favorite day fragrance, although Annick Goutal's L'Eau d'Hadrien comes close. When I was younger, I adored Tribu by Benetton (I wonder if anyone remembers that scent). I also remember Sunflowers, and Cool Water, but I never wore Polo. |

BVLGARI BLV II
Annick Goutal Mandragore Pourpre Hermes Un Jardin Sur le Nil and sometimes in summer Un Jardin en Mediterranee fresh pomegranate anise some Jo Malone citrus/herbal scents in summer Prada L'Eau Ambrée for evening Sisley eau de sisley 1 and 3 (though you may prefer 2 if you like Fracas) |
What??? They don't make 24 anymore? I just moved and for a second, considered throwing it out. So glad that I didn't. My grandmother also wore it. Props to the person who mentioned CB I hate perfume. Love his stuff, and I almost bought his Mr. Hulot's Holiday. I only wear perfume on very special occaions, which as a working mom, are few and far between. I don't like perfume as a daily thing. |
