Obama Fairytales II: Do you have some favorites?

You are lost beyond hope.

Just ask yourself one question: if Wright is all sunshine and sweetness, why has Obama abandon his spiritual guru for 23 years or at least pretends to?

Because Wright has become fame-hungry. He's stepped out of his role as a clergyman, and decided to raise his profile by doing the talk-show rounds as a "controversial figure".

Why do people get divorced after 20 years? After all, they liked each other enough to get married.

Oh now I understand. Rev. Wright has just now become controversial. That makes sense.

When did Rev. Wright and Louis Farrakhan visit Libya. Was is last week, just before the Obama campaign or when? And did Obama somehow miss that along with the flavor of Wright's hate.

I don't want to defend Wright, but I really think he hates aspects of America that he considers racist, not the the ideals or the people of America. Overblown rhetoric is a fault, but over-reacting to it is no virtue.

Right, it was like Michelle Obama saying she was really proud of her country for the first time, or whatever it was.

It's a whole Hell of a lot easier for middle America to be unequivocally proud of Emmit Till's America than it is for your average hillbilly with a .44 and a rebel flag on his pickup truck.

Far as I'm concerned, any black man or woman of a certain age who doesn't get up every morning and burn the flag has got the patience and forgiveness of Mohandas Gandhi.

Try just getting up and being productive.
