Schools and Education General Discussion
| Correct me if I am wrong, but I am 99% sure that Michele Rhee is doing the same thing! I read that she sent her kids to a school in her ex-husband's school boundary. I am sure many of you will disagree becase of her posistion. I really see no difference. She does not live in that area and she is using a relative's address. No one prosecuted her! |

No, PP. Michelle Rhee and her husband shared custody and the husband is in-bounds for Oyster.
In addition, while I'm sypathetic to the Ohio woman's plight and think that the punishment was far disproportionate to the offense, a lot of news reports haven't mentioned that the woman was told that she was breaking the rules and was given an opportunity to move her kids out of the school and she refused. Makes things a little less cut and dried, don't you think? |
| No. The motives are blatant despite your seeking justification under every pebble! |
| Amazing how pretty much anywhere in the united states you won't go to jail for a first Drunk Driving conviction yet they put this lady in jail for caring about her kids education and trying to get what she felt was the best education for them. She pays taxes so this is not stealing. |
