Season ticket-holders are not paying those exorbitant amounts. That said, tickets for non-season ticket-holders ARE high (too much for your average person), but Trump made it sound like, meh. But it’s more than the cost of tickets — it’s the superstitions behind sports (you know, like the folks that never wash their favorite shirt for fear of jinxing the game). NYers believed that Trump would jinx the game if he attended because it upset the mojo.

I live in Williamsburg (Bklyn)so no, I guess I don't spend much time at MSG> I also am a huge Spurs fan since 1999. I found the Knicks FANS' behavior despicable. Has little to do with all the bars and what not that are in the area that were counting on revenue.
