American's 250th Trump concert has a list of some B/C performers from the 80s/90s

It’s honestly just going to end up being the Navy band because they can be forced to perform. And the Navy band is too good to be associated with Trump for real.

This is quickly turning into Trump's embarrassing military parade for his birthday last year. And there is no chance the WH MMA event is anything but a massive embarrassment globally. He's going to end his term with a string of embarrassing productions and half-finished projects.

Underwood suffered career backlash after her inauguration performance and had to navigate it until it passed. I am not sure she is willing to step on this landmine again, and I may be mistaken. I haven't seen her name in the lineup, so I don't think so.

I am praying for one of DC's summer thunderstorms followed by 102 degrees. It is all outdoors with no shelter. LOL

.. Kid Rock? I am baffled why they didn't ask these MAGA die hards.

Even the MAGA billionaires can't buy the most talented artists in the US to perform for the demented orange criminal and his corrupt coterie. Everyone on that list is a has-been who couldn't get a gig playing at a gas station in southern Kansas.

Imagine who Obama could have recruited to perform. All of the top stars would be lining up.

Trump must feel like a real loser right about now...

Timberlake, Springstein, Bon Jovi.. just to name a few.. would show up if Obama or even Kamala were in office.

Kanye is also trying to get back in the public’s good graces and clean up his image so he won’t be there either.

no back wood banjo bands wanna come out from the stix to play for their king?

Maybe we'll have to import some H1Bs to entertain.

Not until October 3 but I was at Springsteen this week and he announced a giant show at Merriweather. He’ll be there with Foo Fighters, Dave Matthews, Tom Morello, Cypress Hill, Jack Black, Dropkick Murphys and more.

yea, I read about that. We won't be around Oct 3, but I would have bought tickets to that show.

Trump shows are pathetic. His inauguration entertainment was meh.

At clinton's inaugural in 1992, Quincey Jones produced a star studded event on the Mall, with the Lincoln Memorial as the backdrop. It was a who's who of superstars lined up for hours of entertainment.

If this were Obama or Harris, it would be the superstars, once again, beating on the door to play the event, to showcase the best of the USA. Instead, we have, at best, D listers, and maybe the military bands, only because they would be forced to do this.

The music industry doesn’t make as much money as it used to. Streaming doesn’t pay as much as selling CDs and concerts ticket sales are way down. It is especially fickle for the low end musicians. They cannot afford even just a small group of people to change their minds about streaming their music or buying a concert ticket.

Jason Aldean and Ted Nugent were not available?

I think it would have been better under Bush also. Trump is too divisive, plain and simple. Mean spirited, corrupt, and tied to a a mountain of scandals. Nobody wants their fingerprints on it.

It’s going to be Ted Nugent playing guitar on that squeaky tank for three hours.
