NP. Honest question: why? The post didn't seem that far-fetched. |
Weird that FAANG is giving signing bonuses to interns when all the FAANG companies are downsizing and terminating their workforce. I am not saying you're lying PP, I don't know you, I am simply saying this sounds odd under the current circumstances of FAANG's current hiring/firing policies. |
+1 Our rising Senior BSN/RN candidate is hoping the trend holds for at least one more year. Plans are indeed for NP or CRNA after the required 2 years post-undergrad. |

| I've heard Human Studies and Philosophy majors from Top 10's are absolutely crushing in the job market right now. Believe me because I said it on an anonymous message board. lol |
That person graduated 2 years ago so internships would have been in 22 and 23...before all this. |
| Healthcare majors, psychology or social work majors. |
Agree |
An internship isn’t a post grad job. |
|
Nursing, it pays well and is one of the more AI proof professions.
Additionally any major that chooses to go the law enforcement route. Every entity is hiring and most offer hiring bonuses and good pay in the DC, MD, VA area. |
Correct, but they are hoping one of the internships turns into a post grad job. The point is that there are companies hiring CS grads, just not like the way they used to. Also, the companies aren't FAANGS. I was also floored that they offered a signing bonus. Never heard of companies doing that for interns, but there you go. And I used to work for a FAANG during the haydays. |
So many threads get derailed by one poster. |
Can we please report asap? I have been doing that. |
No it's not. |
