What are people doing instead of chips these days?

Mary's Super Seed crackers are pretty addicting. No clue if they're actually much better health-wise than chips.

+1 me too!
Roasted edamame for me.
My kids love roasted or air fried chickpeas.

Where do you get your roasted edamame? I was buying Seapoint Farms because it does not have added oil but I am having trouble getting it.

So I spend a fortune on something called sprouted nuts- they're $$ but the texture is amazing and they taste so good and are so filling I no longer crave chips. Also a good supply fresh fruit right out on the kitchen bench where it's easy to grab.

I do so love a DCUM scientist!!
The chips ...like ALL FOODS WITH OIL MAY MAY MAY MAY become rancid but it is not, I repeat NOT rancid right out of the bag.

Yes let the chips sit for a year or leave them in your hot car for months and maybe they will go bad. But by default they are not.

Please don't believe all the bs here.

Is that so bad?
I ate three-year old pringles.

Made a batch of chickpea chips recently—surprisingly decent and easy enough to throw together.

Would love other ideas that are quick and don’t require a ton of prep.

Happy to share what I did if helpful.
(Also posting a few of these experiments on IG: meetingstomeals)
unfortunately, I am resorting to celery and radishes.

BBQ SunChips. I hadn’t had them in a while and then my kid asked for them. So good.

Mmm chips. Loooove chips. Corn chips, potato chips, beet chips, those hippeas chickpea puff things... Basically if it's salty and crunchy and a little greasy, I'm going to town. I prefer a sturdy chip... pringles and lays aren't that tempting. But you'll have to fight me for kettle chips or terra chips.

Oh wait, instead of??

Um. Almonds, I guess?

Bagged chips are nasty.

Popcorn, usually with olive oil, salt, and grated parm if I have it on hand.

Do homemade candied nuts as well, probably not super healthy but I know what's going in it.
