No that’s what the private counseling community was advising this cycle for UVA. They do this for certain other top schools without essays to show interest (Middlebury) |
lol what a joke |
| you shouldnt be settling for emory here. Plenty of better schools out there including some state flagships |
| Add one or two experiences for activities that point to an interest it major. Then craft the application story there. Both of mine were that way and got in great schools that aren’t ivys. |
Notre Dame circa 2010, but this is no longer true. They are just like any other T20 with an added wrinkle of wanting the spike spinner toward ‘service’. |
Well that’s dumb advice for UVA. They make very clear they do not want anything they don’t explicitly ask for. |
You're hate for Emory is your niche at this point. Also cant settle for a school you cant get into. |
your* and try again. most on here went to schools far better than emory. |
| As a general suggestion, apply to schools with acceptance rates in the teens or higher. |
Theres only 5 schools truly better than Emory. The other T25s are more or less the same. Sorry YOU'RE lost in delusion. |
new level of delusion unlocked. if emory was even remotely ok, its yield wouldnt be sub 38% even with ED games and omission of oxford. sad but true |
| ivies, duke, chicago, caltech, hopkins, MIT , vandy, umich, rice, berkeley amongst others are all better options than emory. All have noticeably higher yields than your school for a reason. |
| and Stanford ofcourse too |
+1 This is a person who just disrespects SLACs. |
It worked. test optional EA, OOS. |
