Oh no the kids are on vacation for a week, now they need more time to rest before the scheduled games the following week. |
Agreed |
This is exactly why some clubs steer kids away from high school soccer! This makes it hard to say they’re wrong. At the end of the day, if a player has bigger goals, you’ve got to be smart about workload and not put your teen at unnecessary risk. |
Obviously you have no clue about sports performance and the impact on the body. |
Please. Athletic kids are not taking the week off from activity. A game the week they return to school is not a hardship. At all. |
| 1..2..3..Go away |
+1 The parents who don’t let their kids play HS soccer are pushing them too hard for some college scholarship they may or may not get. |
Really, did they have a week off from spring break. |
remember D3 doesn't get scholarship!! |
So after most being off for a full week (yes some do continue working), you get them back and on the 1st two days you throw them into games? OK |
This has been going on every season, what is the problem? Is springbreak new this year? |
Start the games middle of the week not the 1st day. Build up the work load. |
Spring season is too short for spacing. As long as they aren't playing club games on the weekend they should be fine. Healthier than a tournament or showcase. |
| HS is equally terrible at all schools. |
but why not all of them are state champs |
