Why is the market so reactive to "empty" statements?

Are you surprised? We don't want to admit it but in our culture we have attendence to workship people who we perceived as having success. Movie starts, baseball players, basketball players, singers, geniuses etc etc....this cult of personality is very ingrained in the American culture. And often these people can do no wrong. They will break the law, they will lie, they will manipulate etc etc it doesn't matter because we workshop them anything they do it's okay.

Lifelong Democrat here. He is not the only ones. Democratic congresspeople and Republicans as well have used their position to enrich themselves. As long we continue to see this corruption through a partisan lense it's not going to change.

Democrats have had control of all 3 branches, why didn't they do something about this? They will have control again.. Will they do it?.Nope.

Lifelong Democrat here. He is not the only ones. Democratic congresspeople and Republicans as well have used their position to enrich themselves. As long we continue to see this corruption through a partisan lense it's not going to change.

Are you blaming Democrats for the truly stunning corruption and grift of the right? How about Trump’s people learn to control themselves and put their country above their own greed for once?

Republicans could stop all this today. They control all 3 branches today. There is support on both sides. The fact they won’t, and they continue to profit from lies about a WAR, is very telling.

When Democrats control.all 3 branches again let's see if they sign a bill into law to reign in from profiting while in office. The trust is these are rent seekers all of them Democrats, independents, republicans, socialists, far right all.of them. They are all in it to enrich themselves. And there are enough of them to stop any bill that will take their hands out of the cookie jar.
