Other than Williams who cares about the rest.

| Save the money and go to the SEC schools. |
At my DC's school, one kid has been admitted ED each of the past few years. Then no one RD. |
People who don't want to live in the middle of nowhere. It's the least popular SLAC application at DC's school, tied with Pomona. |
| Middlebury takes most of class ED |
Definitely a troll post. |
No thanks. SEC for losers. |
| NESCAC schools peaked in the 70s. Most have little diversity and are way too remote. Lots of better options. |
where do you get the data for ED WITHOUT the athletes? |
Is this your first kid applying to college OP? You sound a little overconfident. It's hard out there, even for kids with great stats. You say you're at a private, so I'm puzzled why you're asking DCUM and not your kid's counselor this question. |
What a terrible thing to say. NESCAC grad here who lives in an SEC state. I have a huge amount of respect for the education that many of the professionals and successful business people in my community received at their SEC flagships. My kid (gasp) applied to our SEC flagship and considered it seriously. We toured several NESCAC schools and my kid didn’t even want to apply. |
I don't get why the trolls need to trash NESCAC or SEC. Spouse went to an SEC and kid goes to a NESCAC. Lots of great schools in both groups, obviously very different. But no need to trash talk if not for you. |
