Anyone else’s kid get in but it is just a portal notification (with confetti) and says kid’s name and major but no “letter” so to speak.

I believe this happened with my kid as well last cycle. Letter came later.

Are they doing the admits by major. A lot of kids in dc school got in for education and bio. Dd is another major and got deferred as did kids with other majors
I’m a bit pissed cos we applied EA

Imagine paying OOS Public tuition for Education and Bio majors. If they think they were doing this and able to change majors later they will be in for a surprise. It's not an easy task there.
