Terrible. What did you decide?

My go to is never crappy food.

Fresh tacos, salads or something I know will make my body feel loved.

I hope you ordered a salad.

Five guys burgers are great, but their fries are always so greasy.

I would have a big glass of water, a banana and then take 2 advil pms and call it a night.

I recently had major abdominal surgery. 8 days of nothing by mouth, 2 days of liquid diet, first solid food was just toast. It took a bit before I felt like I was ready to tackle meat. I’m really surprised that the thing I’m craving isn’t cheese or chocolate. I want a pastrami sandwich from Corned Beef King. Never would have predicted that in a million years.

I hope you treated yourself to a far healthier meal, something from Honey Grow or Sweet Green.

People like you are the worst, truly.

PP is right.

No, you’re both wrong.

Imagine being someone whose life contains no associations powerful enough to override objective reality. Do I know what proper lasagna tastes like? Yes. Do I have fond memories of my Midwestern mom's lasagna, and do I find that 1950s goodness comforting? Also yes.

I completely understand. I crave a reuben once in a while and a good one just hits the spot.

I had a Taco Bell comfort meal last week. No regrets. Makes me feel like its 1998 again lol.

+1000 And mac n cheese.

I’ve actually never had Popeyes. . .

Mother of all things holy!

That said, my kid has never had Taco Bell, Wendy’s, Burger King, sonic, KFC or any other of the fast food places that I don’t like.

Same. I'd probably take them to try a sonic (tater tots!) but there's not one nearby. Same with DQ. That said, now that I'm firmly out of ever eating fast food or bad food if I can help it and they are teens, they've been to places I've never been, like Red Robin.

Unos spinoccoli was definitely a comfort food but I don't even know if there are Unos any more...

There’s one right off the highway in Manassas! Not too far, not too close. Lol

If I needed qhick comfort food, it wouldn't be any of these greasy choices (although when my husband and son decide to pick up Five Guys for themselves on their way home from practice they know to get me an Oreo milkshake), I would make a quick Rhee Drummond chocolate mug cake. Quick, easy and delicious, esp with a small scoop of vanilly ice cream on top.
