OP, in the movie Drum Line about the fictional Atlanta A&T University there's a homecoming king and queen. I thought it was tacky made up for movie stuff. |

Ok, I think you need to give up this ridiculous argument.
You have been proven wrong, yet you continue with it. Go cry into a wine glass about the good old days with coach K and feeling superior while tossing trash in your football stadium. |
The moral superiority about homecoming and how great her university is because they were too "progressive" for such things as a homecoming court. She conveniently doesn't mention it is a university that owes it's beginnings to tobacco and cigarette money. Tobacco money from a slave holding family which continued to profit after slavery on an economy built on the legacy of slavery. But they don't do homecoming court, so there's that. |
The poster was not referring to the original post. The poster was referring to the comments about genders and wokeness etc. |
Are you the genius making up a straw man argument totally unrelated to the actual post? |
Okay, so you are not the defender of wake posting about genders and wokeness. Good for you. Push back on that poster if you don't like it. I had nothing to do with those posts. I just responded to them. |
| I just went to the Ohio State homecoming game. It has a queen and king. What’s your problem OP? |
I'm aware of a large suburban public HS in my area which this year crowned an LBGT+ kid and another who had logged an enormous amount of community service hours as the HC King and Queen. Chosen by classmates. Seems like you have a preconceived notion of who is getting chosen by their peers and why. Did you do any research, or did you just fire off this post? Maybe check your own prejudices. |
Anymore… |
and "just started" following Wake on Instagram?????? So odd. And then came here to post.
