I do not understand why renewables have to recycle everything. It is an absurd standard given how bad fossil fuels are from extraction, transportation, refinement, burning to generate energy, industrial waste, and abandoned wells and mine. shipping. A gallon of gas weights 6 pounds. When it is burned it produces 19 pounds of CO2. The use of fossil fuels has reduced world wide atmosphere oxygen by 0.1%.

Solar, batteries, wind, etc are not way close to that and they are way cheaper.
