| I find hosiery very very itchy and too fragile... I probably used kinds that were too cheap. |
| The thing about hosiery is your cloches smells like death. Wearing hose is basically a signal that you've given up on sex. Sorry ladies. |
| Hose are nice and also make it bearable to wear pumps. Without hose or tights, they’re just too uncomfortable and case abrasion. |
Maybe take a bath and wash your hose or tights each time. Wearing them to an evening or daytime event for a couple of hours does not have the results you stated. |
I've never had that problem. If you do, you could consider stockings and a garter belt. Bonus: Back in the day, men found that very sexy. Yes, I am old enough to remember. |

I grew up wearing Hanes and legs pantyhose in black and off black.
Target carries these shaping ones and sweater tights for when it’s cold. https://www.target.com/p/hanes-premium-women-39-s-sheer-high-waist-shaping-pantyhose-black-xl/-/A-14170623 https://www.target.com/p/women-39-s-cable-sweater-tights-a-new-day-8482-oatmeal-heather-s-m/-/A-94619117 |

You really need to stop inventing reasons why people shouldn't wear hose. I think you're a troll and you've been spamming any thread that talks about hosiery. |
I wore over-the-knee socks with ribbon garters yesterday. This is very much a thing, coming to you from East Asia: decades ago, it was the Japanese teen uniform, co-opted by manga then J-pop. Now it's distributed worldwide by Korean dramas and K-pop. |
Hosiery does not smell anymore than tights. Do you eschew tights too? Or do you always just wear pants with socks? |
In the 70s and early 80s, knee socks with skirts was a very popular look for high school and college girls. I have yearbooks that have lots of pictures of girls wearing skirts and knee socks. Bonus: knee socks are way more comfortable than nylons. |
