Again, Texas remains the most dangerous state for children in 2025.

Abductions
Mass shootings
Abuse and neglect

As of late 2024: Texas was reported to have the highest number of child abuse victims in the United States.

First -time child abuse victims: 43,827.
Highest number of child abuse fatalities: 187

The deadliest mass shootings involving children to date were in Texas:

Abbot on Uvalde, “It could have been worse.”

Shortly after the slaughter, he approved the annual NRA meeting to proceed.

When Uvalde parents begged him to do something, he did this:

1. Vetoed ban on assault-style weapons and refused to raise the minimum age to 21 for purchasing AR-15 rifles stating it was unconstitutional.

2. Permitless carry law: Abbott reversed the 2021 constitutional carry law, lowering the minimum age for handgun carry from 21 to 18.

Guadalupe River Flood: 28 children and counselors died

Has Governor Reactive, not proactive, finally decided to protect children? Nah, he’s just showing his true color: WHITE

Signed a couple of bills:

1. Camps to install outdoor warning sirens paid for by state grants
2. Maintain emergency alert systems
3. Train staff on emergency routes
4. Require cabins to be located away from flood plains
5. Mandate state inspections
